Our Activities

We have successfully conducted numerous health camps across Madurai, reaching thousands of individuals and making a significant impact on the community’s health. These activities have not only directly benefited the individuals who participated but have also had a broader impact on the community as a whole.

Medical Camp (July 1, 2023)

Beneficiaries: 100-200 individuals received free healthcare services.

Impact:

  • Improved health outcomes: Many beneficiaries reported improved health conditions after receiving treatment for various ailments.

  • Reduced financial burden: By providing free healthcare, the Trust alleviated the financia burden of medical expenses for many families.

  •  Increased access to healthcare: The camp helped to bridge the gap in healthcare access for underserved communities.

Autism Awareness Program (July 8, 2024)

Beneficiaries: 50-100 families benefited from increased awareness and understanding of autism. 


Impact:  

  • Reduced stigma: The program helped to reduce stigma associated with autism by providing accurate information and dispelling myths.  

  • Empowered families: Parents felt more informed and equipped to support their children with autism.  

  • Improved social inclusion: Increased awareness of autism can lead to greater acceptance and inclusion of autistic individuals in society.

Tree Planting Drive (September 17, 2023)

Beneficiaries: 500 trees planted, contributing to environmental sustainability and carbon sequestration.


Impact:  

  • Improved air quality: The trees will absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen, improving air quality in the area.  

  • Biodiversity conservation: The trees will provide habitat for wildlife and support local biodiversity. 

  • Climate change mitigation: The trees will help to mitigate the effects of climate change by reducing greenhouse gas emissions

Women Empowerment Workshop (March 15, 2024)

Beneficiaries: 50-100 women participated in the workshop and gained valuable skills and knowledge. 


Impact: 

  •  Increased confidence and self-esteem: Participants reported feeling more confident and empowered after the workshop.  

  • Improved career prospects: The skills acquired during the workshop can help women to advance in their careers or start their own businesses.  

  • Economic empowerment: By providing women with economic opportunities, the Trust can help to reduce poverty and inequality. 

Through these activities, we have demonstrated its commitment to providing comprehensive healthcare services to the underserved communities of Madurai. By addressing a wide range of health needs, improving health outcomes, and promoting preventive care, the organization has made a significant contribution to the well-being of the community.
